Weird, I thought she looked fine, as well. I prefer the natural look.

Jack,
The Humming birds are sitting on her hands, not yours.

Those hummingbirds are pretty darned clever.

If it were me who made disparaging personal comments about anyone's appearance my post would be instantly deleted from this forum.

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.

I apologize. I tried to word it appropriately to show that it's society's standards, not mine (though I still wouldn't wear that, ever). I'm sure the woman in question is somebody's sister, wife, mother, and daughter and is a very nice woman. But from the original post, even SHE had issues about not being made-up when pictures were being taken of her. Hopefully it's not that big of a deal. We all have days when we wish people wouldn't take pictures of us. Even so, it's a great picture of a magical event.

She looks fine to me..a natural woman, so to speak.

The Photoshopping is obvious on the birds.

Jack my friend, don't take this wrong but what the **** would you know about women and their charms..

Slan,
D. :D
And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

Oh, good, it's not just me.
The red throated guy in this picture shot looks like he was greenscreened in.

I think the woman looks fine! She looks like a regular person you would see on the street, perfectly normal. And she looks a lot better than a lot of people you see walking down the street, IMO. I hope I look that good when I am her age.

I agree. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. She's perfectly acceptable, just not a supermodel in one of the glossy magazines, but really--who is (certainly not me!!!)?

I really don't give a hoot about the woman, what she's wearing, or her looks.

I'm more bothered about the authenticity of the photos. Are they real, or have they been manipulated, as dub and fearfaoin have suggested?

(Not that the comments about the woman, her cosmetics, etc, haven't been entertaining.)

It's just that my mom is a hummingbird lover, with no internet, and I was going to share those photos with her. But I wouldn't if they are faked.
Every time I turn around, I wonder where I've been.
Time to stop turning round, I guess.
