CP: Scheky's Set
I thought I would use my monthly commercial post to show you how Richard's purpleheart C,D set is coming along. It still needs some more tung oil, but it's a nice sunny day here, so I took some pictures of it.
Here it is in its case: 6 inches by 4.5 inches by 1 inch, a nice fit for a shirt or jacket pocket:
Also at the oiling stage, I have an osage D, still unspoken-for:
Thanks for looking.
David

One of each (at least)
Robert,
You used the term "OR" ("Burke or a Busman"), it should be "AND" -- one of each (or more) is required to hang out around here, I think!

- Tell us something.: Love playing trumpet and modern flute at church as well as Irish trad flute in a band. Been playing Irish trad and 18th century period music for about 15 years.

My two cents...
I have a Rover D in Blackwood - best whistle I've ever loved! In fact, I did a blind sound test with my harmonically-impaired wife (I still love her a LOT after 31 years!) and the O'Brien won (against a Burke DAN). Wasn't much of a test, I know, as I was just trying to decide which one to play at Mass that day...
