Thanks for the compliment. We bought his whistle teacher Debbie Quigley an identical model for Christmas this year. Liam's turning 9 this May. I'm really excited about this year's Chris Langan weekend - there are beginner whistle classes being taught for the kids. How cool is that? The instructor is Pat O'Gorman, great guy and mucho talent!

A few more pictures, six weeks later, of our new dogs.
The white one is even newer. We got him 3 weeks ago as a companion for Pebbles because we thought Bam Bam was going off with my step daughter.

Actually, these two--the younger half of my kids--are more weird than cute these days, but here's Olivia proving that even when you're turning 18 next month, some things stay fun:

And here she is again, demonstrating that pole vaulting keeps you sturdy enough to hoist your 16 year old baby brother Gabe who outweighs you by a good 30 lbs:
(note the pirate themed rain boots. Also, she is wearing short shorts under that sweatshirt which belongs to her boyfriend.)

Here's my cutiepie. It's Big Charlie. 11 months, 130pounds of fun.

And here is Big Charlie with some of his latest work. That WAS a half-roll of toilet paper. He's pretty good about NOT chewing things up but God help me if he gets a sock, towel, or any rolled-up type of paper or a box.
