Tax return came back on Friday...
so I bought myself a new toy.

Spector Legend five string...

My first instrument from a real high-end manufacturer... :party:
Yeah, ok it's Spector's entry model, but considering the next model up is $1,700 I don't think I got a half bad deal. :D

I lurves me this bass!


What I really really would like is one of these...

...but they book for somewhere around $2,500, so that's a few tax returns away still... :D

Have I commented before that I didn't know Tyler played bass?

If I play bass I want a bass fiddle. It seems like bass fiddle players around here are never short of gigs with local bluegrass bands.

Yep, standard +1... BEADG, but I've seen people who tune a fiver EADGB.

Actually....now that you mention it...

my next musically related purchase will more than likely be one of these. This guy makes some awesome fretless basses for the cost. One can get a highly decked out model for under $500.
