Huh. Maybe you should buy your Saturns instead of leasing them.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Another alternative would be to lease them for a shorter period of time--if you hold onto them too long, they're going to be nearly worthless anyway. No sense in having to pay excess wear and tear on THAT.

Toyotas have better resale, too. Might want to consider that next time.

For me, the 80's roared in with me in tights playing Benvolio as a high school freshman in Romeo and Juliet and ended with me watching my bride walk down the grass "aisle" at the Londontown Public Garden to the sounds of a hammered dulcimer and guitar. I was in dress whites sans sword.

An interesting decade.

Car jokes aside, a "Saturn return" is when the planet Saturn returns to the same place it was in one's Natal chart. It's an astrology thing.

When my first Saturn return happened (just as the 80s were kicking in) it was like everybody around me was crashing, burning, and leaving me to straighten out the mess.

Not too long ago I was whining to one of my buddies about my second Saturn return being just about here and he pointed out that some Swiss physicists were planning to fire up the worlds largest nuclear particle accelerator on my birthday this year and if the worst was to happen they'd create a black hole for us all to get sucked into.

I guess that would resolve my concern about having to live through another Saturn return.
