Walking thru mature redwood groves is an experience I hope all of you will someday experience. On the one hand, its pretty quiet, but you can literally feel their presence...a form of energy if you will. Its like they're breathin or something.I have spent many hours there.

Notwithstanding a stray complaint here and there, the thread has grown even cuter.

Today, we discovered that Ernest Hemingway is a chiffster. Then JessieK lays a new and bountiful claim to cutie-pie-ness.

Then we got awesome art from the Christie-pie. Wombat gets the hint and yes, braces are attached by buttons, not sharp clamp thingies....The retro look is in with ranchers (like my Dad) who want to go back to the single rear brace, btw. Throwback to the 19th century, though some never stopped wearin em across the country. Farmer cutie-pie....hey, chattiekathy, you see single back braces there in Pennsylvania??

A good day for cutie-pie-ness amidst the Mideastern turmoil...

I thought the real retro country braces were with one lone strap : single back, and single front ?
Now, Li'l Abner is my only ethnologic document on the topic...

Okay, this is kind-a spooky. My wife saw Ridseard picture and says, "Oh look... thats you without your glasses... even down to that black t-shirt you wear."

I think it's just the square face, with appropriate gray imbelishments; but, she say's "No, look there's that dimple in your cheek; but where's your hat?"

Of course having voiced one objection to my wifes opinion,
I know the appropriate response .... "Yes, Honey, don't know what happened to my hat."

This way I can move on and enjoy my music, Ridseard, hope you get time to ...

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

Hey everybody,
I had a blind lady the other day tell me how good-looking I am. And I think she was serious. Ah, if only the women who could SEE thought that!

But I'm really here not to defend my cuteness, but to invite you all (especially Lee, who, by the way, looks mighty dapper in that hat of his) to my party next month. See the appropriate thread for details. Mike, I'll endorse you as a candidate if you come (I wield unspeakable power in Wyoming politics, you know, especially among the blind women voters). Of course, if ALL of you come, it could get a bit cozy, but hey, this is Wyoming. We'll deal with it.

Have a great TG day (for you of the American persuasion), have a great Thursday (for those of you who aren't), and all of you, don't forget to be Thankful for what you have.

Well, enders, Some of the Amish around here wear the one strap kind but the Mennonites wear the double straps. Not that I have looked, I had to ask my hubby, though why he would know is beyond me. He just uses baler twine as a belt if his pants are too big. ROFLMAO Image YOu know the milk price thing... Just kidding he does own a belt.

Since this thread has totally gone out of control I thought I would just add another message to it. Hmmm do I need to add a picture to be considered a cutie-pie?

I like dogs too. Here's Sashi, my Best Buddy and Cutest Doggie in the Whole Wide House. It wuz rainin' so we wuz wearin' our slickers.

Edit -
On Saturday night my band played a Hanukkah Klezmer-Contradance in Shepherdstown WV, a 1-1/2 hour drive from me. I brought Sash along for company. She sat at my side in her little bed for the entire gig, just quietly watching the dancers and occasionally looking up at me for reassurance whenever the dancers would whoop and holler or stomp hard on the floor during the balances. I took her out for walkies during the break, which she found exciting, but other than that she acted like being in a room with a hundred dancing lunatics and crazy klezmer music blasting from the speakers was an ordinary thing.
What a great pooch! BTW, Sash is 10 years old.

Wendina and Sashi are total cutie-pies!! And that kitty in the pie tin was too cute for words. ::grin::

Hallatauer, of course you can still be a cutie pie without a picture, but it would be good form to post one. You may also get more compliments that way.

It isn't ....? What's the world coming to? Nothing bad so long as cutie-piety marches on.
