License plates...

Post by brewerpaul »

The other night we went out for dinner and when we came out, there was a car whose license plate read SWEETONE, right next to my WH1STLES.
(I tried to get a cell phone pic, but it was too dark)

BTW-- when I applied for my vanity plates, WHISTLES was already taken, so there's at least one more out there...

I've been thinking about making a licnese plate frame that says "I'd rather be whistling" but it's not ecconomical to do just one.

Is there interest in sharing the cost of a batch? If so, I'll see about exact costs.

Maybe a plate for the front for those states that only require a rear plate?

Let me know if any of you are interested enough for me to do the leg work on a quote from a manufacturer. I'm thinking just divide the total cost by the number purchased plus any mailing cost (should be small charge to mail it.)

Cheers,

Carey

What cost are you shooting for? You can do a one-shot here for $20.

This place will do 1-9 frames for $16 ($12 for 100 or more).

I couldn't afford custom plates so I had my name legally changed to QSK 682.

I dunno. I hadn't thought about it that far. Didn't even do a Google, just sorta had the thought in my head and when the license plate thread happened I tossed it out. $20 ain't bad. I'd have guessed it would be higher. Thanks for the links.

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

I work very hard at keeping my car as non-descript as possible. I can't comprehend paying extra to have folks know it's you.

With a plate like WH1STLES, I look upon it as advertising :D
