A fun diversion!
And after they day I've had, I need one! I nicked this from another site, and it's kind of fun. Here is the deal....you are going to make your own album. Click on the links below and follow the directions under each link.
1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The first article title on the page is the name of your band.
2. http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3. http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
Take the picture, add your band name and the album title, and post. It's easy!

Not bad....
Calicot Railway Station
as name for a band has a certain ring to it...
The title is not bad either:
Rest of my life
And the cover:
Dang, how do you add images? Until I find out:

Just tried the picture link stuff again, just to be told the picture is currently unavailable. The link still works, though...

How do you find this stuff Izz? I love it.
My band is called Taurine Dioxygenase and our album is titled Use of Blunt Objects (the word before that was "skilled" - an even more interesting title!).
Our album cover, depicting some blunt objects:

Band: Scat Paradise
Album: Reading of a Book
Scat Paradise, unfortunately, is the actual title of some guy in Japan's album, so there may be copyright problems.

Lots of band names come from a song or album name from another artist...emmline wrote:Band: Scat Paradise

As long as there's no other band of the same name, it seems OK.

(That's a really interesting list. Apparantly, Pearl Jam was originally called
"Mookie Blaylock" [ugh] and Pink Floyd started as "The Tea Set" [retch].)

Re: A fun diversion!
It is fun, isn't it? I'm glad I happened upon it. I love fun diversions like this, that take your mind of the mundane for just a few minutes anyway. And since yesterday was more than mundane, it was even betteravanutria wrote:How do you find this stuff Izz? I love it.
I LOVE the name for your band, by the way. I would so totally name a band that. Despite my dislike for organic chemistry, it just has a cool ring to it.
