I don't see anything wrong with the word chalk or non-permanent...

:D thanks chrisoff :D and well spotted, there are so many conotations (religious/colour/sexual orientation etc) that can be construed from every word that goes into the public domain that we can lose sight of what it was that was trying to be said in the first place!
jbarter, I can remember just before I left the UK in 1988 that there was a wave of PC sweeping the land and the terms blackboard and whiteboard were two of the things that were targetted to be outlawed in schools. As I remember, 'manhole' was to become a 'person hole'.
I also remember someone putting forward the suggestion that 'Herr Hitler' was to be changed to 'Him Hitler' to reflect that it was a male who had perpetrated the heinous acts of his day and not a woman. Has the world gone stark raving mad or what?!!!

I think it's quite attractive. Especially when it's kept long and not hacked off like a Marine Corps recruit.

Here's a pic of her with Elvis Costello, swiped from emmylou.net. Isn't she beautiful?

Here are (l to r) Rachel (21), Olivia (17), and Becca (19) after Christmas dinner at my bro-in-law's house with their cousin Belle (3).

Same crew plus Gabe (15.) He's reading a book Olivia gave him called Forbidden Knowledge, which explains (among other things,) how to tell if your neighbor is a zombie.

my wife says she knows how to tell if your neighbor is a zombie:
1. is s/he eating out your brains?
2. is s/he wearing the same clothes that s/he was buried in?
3. when you feed him/her salty foods, does s/he return to normal?

Yep, at the tender age of 60, Emmylou is still a babe. Every time I watch the Spyboy DVD I marvel at her beauty -- inner and outer.
