Cocusflute tends to make overbroad generalizations, no matter what the subject. He needs to be taken with a pound or two of salt.

We leave the technique up to foreigners so's we can focus on more important things such as the price of our Hum-v's, the falling amount of saturated fats in our fast food and How much wood could a wood-chuck chuck if a wood-chuck could chuck wood.

Tell us something.: I restore 19th century flutes, specializing in Rudall & Rose, and early American flutes. I occasionally make new flutes. Been at it for about 15 years.

Now tell me, does this look like a Yank?

The struggle in Palestine is an American war, waged from Israel, America's most heavily armed foreign base and client state. We don't think of the war in such terms. Its assigned role has been clear: the destruction of Arab culture and nationalism.

Well, Cocus always makes us smile, (perhaps in spite of himself). But back to the subject of Olwells....

Has anyone, like, ever sold one? It's probably the only flute I don't remember seeing offered up here. Just curious.

I haven't sold one, but I have bought one from this board and one off ebay. I consider myself very lucky -- they were both bargains, and one is a collector's item.
