mine is Bumble from the rudolph the red nose reindeer. I like snow, particularly untouched powder on steep faces waiting for me to ski down. Somehow this seems to fit.

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

I visited my son in college at Swarthmore, Pennslyvania, right outside Philadelphia and we visited the Rodin museum there. I superimposed my image on top of Rodin's. I was actually sitting below the sculpture of the Thinker, which is located outside the museum.

I think too much.

Mine is a picture I took of my whistle on the rocks by the lake that I live near by, that was the day I finally summed up enough courage to go play by the lake, and I love sitting there

You forgot a bit:

A figure reaches into its jacket <atmosphere tenses>

and pulls out an object. <tension builds>

Two police officers drop to their knees and fire.

It's a whistle. <anticlimax>

I finally have an avatar, it is Kyo my brother's kitten. She's a baby, and she is adorable.
Why build character when you already are one?

This latest avatar happened last night at a kitchen session. Three of us were having a good time playing tunes and singing songs that we typically don't do at our session. A few others were hanging out enjoying the Guiness and tunes. At the end of the evening one of them produced a drawing of the three of us. I thought I should share some of his art with y'all here.

That thar is a photo from my dad's pictures of the "girls" he helped keep in the air while an airplane mechanic stationed on Siapan from it's American occupation until the end of WWII. She's a B29, Lassie Come Home T21 42-24609 w/o after 14Jan45 mission. I thought she was an excellent example of "nose art" and one of the few that are suitable on a family forum.

I haven't an avatar. In internet terms, does that mean I have no physical manifestation of my existance? This could bring up complicated metaphysical questions if I continue on this line.

Isn't your avatar really nothing at all? See how the mind can't fully grasp that nonconcept?

Wow, it's amusing when these threads outlive the avatars themselves...
