Just for fun - what does YOUR avatar mean?
My avatar is of a character called 'Ushiwaka' from one of my favourite games called Okami. Normally I have an avatar of a European Buzzard as I'm into falconry and that is the bird I hope to take on next year, but I had a better idea for this forum
I picked Waka for my avatar as he's one of my favourite characters, plus he plays a flute and his theme is one of my most loved pieces of music from the game, and one of my favourite flutey-kinda pieces of music in general

Duck? Really?Jerry Freeman wrote:My avatar is a silk painting of a duck. It's the first silk painting a friend of mine did. I had a pet duck when I was seven, and I still like ducks. They make me smile, so she did the painting for me.
Best wishes,

I always thought it was a whale.

I remember there was a huge debate about whether it was a whale or a mouse and you were like "um it's a duck people"My avatar is a silk painting of a duck. It's the first silk painting a friend of mine did. I had a pet duck when I was seven, and I still like ducks. They make me smile, so she did the painting for me.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

I'll have to think about that. I'm pretty sure it was a duck, but then, I was only seven.Aanvil wrote:Duck? Really?Jerry Freeman wrote:My avatar is a silk painting of a duck. I like your sense of humor, Jerry. But it's really like a Rorschach inkblot test. It reveals far more about the viewer than the creator.Jerry Freeman wrote:

I've always had no doubt whatsoever it was a mouse.
I think the first time I noticed it was in a very amusing thread about a mouse who used to frequent Jerry's kitchen. Hence I assumed....it looks like a mouse, he has mouse issues....therefore....
Absolutely, it's a mouse.
A duck? A whale? Whatever are you people smoking???

Every time I turn around, I wonder where I've been.
Time to stop turning round, I guess.

Nose hair?! I always assumed you had a mustache and beard!!!

Hooliganism is a growing problem here in Sweden. There has alwas been some violonce connected with fooball, but now the hooligans seem to be more organized.chrisoff wrote:In the football sense we actually had one of the most feared crews (aberdeen soccer casuals) in the UK during the 80s. Bunch of idiots kicking lumps out of each other all over the country instead of watching the damn game.
Have you heard Bill Hick´s sketch about hooligans?
I must say I´m surprised that there will be no team from GB. England didn´t make it to the European Championship and Northern Ireland and Scotland didn´t either. I´ve heard rumours that Svennis will be back after England´s sacking of McClaren.
The future is bright - let´s buy shades!
