Yeah, that one's been my favorite ere I first saw it on YouTube. It was one of the skits that was made to air in the UK, due to the difference between commercial break lengths there and here, so it didn't air in the original American run of the series.Redwolf wrote:Finally, someone treats this song as it deserves!

Sinéad O'Connor has sung it. She's as Irish as they possibly get.Redwolf wrote:Not surprising when you think about it. How many real Irish people sing "Danny Boy"?falkbeer wrote:And non of them are really irish...

- Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

I'm sure O'Connor's version is nice--I really like her voice--but man, when Beaker hits that high note it always brings the mist to my eyes. Nothing compares.
[edited to change "Meeker" to "Beaker," dadgummit!]

Fall down six times. Stand up seven.
That would be "Beaker" ('cause he's shaped liked a ... beaker).WyoBadger wrote:I'm sure O'Connor's version is nice--I really like her voice--but man, when Meeker hits that high note it always brings the mist to my eyes. Nothing compares.
Beaker, Animal and the Swedish Chef make up a trio known as The Leprechaun Brothers:
Giles: "We few, we happy few."
Spike: "We band of buggered."
Spike: "We band of buggered."
