The lyrics in the chorus come from Ancient Irish, the language of the Druids. It's much like Hindu Sanskrit in that it is a vibrational language, i.e. the meaning of the words isn't half so important as the vibrational effects the words have on your internal energy flow. A couple of hearty too ra loo ra's every morning are guaranteed to open up those chakras to start your day off just right.

Lyrics: (Im pretty sure these are right.)
When Irish Eyes are Smiling
Would you still remember me?
For I must be travelling on, now,
There's too many places I haven't seen
And if I stayed here with you, now
Things just wouldn't be the same
Well I'm as free as a bird now,
And a bird you can not change.
And a bird you can not change.
And a bird you can not change.
Lord knows I can't change
When Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, 'tis like the morn in Spring.
Bye, bye, its been a sweet love.
And though this feeling I can't change.
Please don't take it badly,
The Lord knows I'm to blame.
And, if I stayed here with you now
Things just wouldn't be the same.
For I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you'll never change.
And the bird you can not change.
When Irish hearts are happy,
All the world seems bright and gay.
And the bird you can not change.
Lord knows, I can't change.
Lord help me, I can't change.
And when Irish eyes are smiling,
Sure, they steal your heart away.
When Irish Eyes are Smiling
Would you still remember me?
For I must be travelling on, now,
There's too many places I haven't seen
And if I stayed here with you, now
Things just wouldn't be the same
Well I'm as free as a bird now,
And a bird you can not change.
And a bird you can not change.

And then there's:
O Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
You don't have to put on the red light
Those days are over
You don't have to sell your body to the night
O Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
You don't have to wear that dress tonight
Walk the streets for money
You don't care if it's wrong or if it's right
O Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling.
I loved you since I knew you
I wouldn't talk down to you
I have to tell you just how I feel
I won't share you with another boy
I know my mind is made up
So put away your make up
Told you once I won't tell you again
It's a bad way
O Danny Boy
You don't have to put on the red light
O Danny Boy
You don't have to put on the red light
I'll simply sleep in peace until you come to me.
O Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
You don't have to put on the red light
Those days are over
You don't have to sell your body to the night
O Danny Boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling
You don't have to wear that dress tonight

"Come single Belles and Beaux, and to me pay attention:
Don't ever fall in love, 'tis the devil's own invention.
For once I loved a maid, a lady so bewitchin';
'Twas Captain Kelly's Maid, down in Captain Kelly's kitchen.
Too ra loora loora la,
Too ra loora loora laddie
Too ra loora loora la,
Too ra loora loora laddie!"
These were Stage Songs, which might be sung in pubs as well. The big thing was to get people to sing along. Most of them would be half cut, so you didn't want complicated words that might give offence when mangled. Much easier to have some nonsense jingle, where it doesn't matter if your drunken audience gets it wrong.

When Irish Eyes are Smiling (alternative version)
I said who do you think you are?
(I said who)
Some kind of superstar,
You have got to swing it, shake it, move it, make it,
Who do you think you are?
Trust it, use it, prove it, groove it,
Show me how good you are,
Swing it, shake it, move it, make it,
Who do you think you are?
Trust it, use it, prove it, groove it,
Show me how good you are
Mukade

I don't think you folks are treating this thread with the proper degree of respect or seriousness it deserves. All this person has done is ask for the lyrics to Too Ra Loo Ra. Although I provided a simple method for getting these from the web above, I will go one step further and type them all out by hand so that this newbie does not feel dejected at his treatment by this board.
So you think your schooling's phoney
I guess its hard not to agree
You say it all depends on money
And who is in your family tree
Too ra loora loo ra
You know you got a right to say
Too ra loora loo ra
You know you got a right to say
Too ra loora loo ra
You know you're right to say
Too ra loora loo ra
You know you're right to say
Me, I dont care anyway!
Write your problems down in detail
Take them to a higher place
You've had your cry - no, I should say wail
In the meantime hush your face
Too ra loora loo ra
You know you got a right to say
Too ra loora loo ra
You know you got a right to say
Too ra loora loo ra
You know you're right to say
Too ra loora loo ra
You know you're right to say
Me, I dont care anyway!

- Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.
