Whoop!

:D

And despite going out for drinks after work (which included a bartender supplying lots of free cocktails as they were revamping their menu and wanted some feedback on the new ones) I don't have a hangover.

Which means I can go get a haircut then wander down to the international market and get lots of nice things for lunch.

Then tonight I'm going for a family dinner at probably the best Italian restaurant in the city.

Oh, and I might even have a new girlfriend after last night...

All in all this is a pretty good day.

Happy Birthday Chris! Dear hubby's was yesterday, and he's now got a half a century under his belt!!!!!!!!!! (he still has't caught up with me! heehee)

hope the potential new girlfriend is up to the challenge. :wink:

Give the cat a chuck under the chin for me. how's he doing? his twin here has a new girlfriend too... though it's strictly friends.

It was indeed.

Man dinner was soooo good. Stufato di Funghi (mushrooms on toast) for starter then monkfish, king prawns and swordfish cooked in olive oil and tomato sauce
with olives, capers, chilly garlic and potatoes.

Annie, well I've got a bit to go before my half centure although my folks were reminding us with glee that we're only 3 years off the big 30 now. But they've both hit the 50 mark so I'll let them off with that.

The cat is doing good, completely overrun the flat now and I simply live to serve his every whim these days. My brother was round taking more photos last night after dinner so maybe I'll post some of them later on.
