Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

You know, my cat likes to follow me into the bathroom, too. :really:

That's cuz once you're down and settled they know you're not going anywhere. You just have to scratch them then.

Yep. Any time before 7am is "the middle of the night" as far as I'm concerned. :)

Ha!

Mine bolts for the restroom if he ever thinks I'm on my way there and makes big "Pruuurrrooowww!" while on his way.

He will almost knock me down to get there first.

I think he wants to help or something. :o

emmline wrote:I voted arbitrarily, but I think it depends on at what hour you can imagine yourself being up and going about business of any sort. 4 am is the earliest I could get up and still consider that I actually had sort of a night's sleep, so I picked 4. Everything before that, while technically morning, is really nighttime.
I voted the same, for the same reason. I'm with ya on this Em. :P

See, Cran? This morning, you were afraid I'd spoiled your thread. But, as you can see, it's going along just fine!

In typical Chiff fashion, we've already devolved from wee to the other wee, to cats, to toilet habits in general. All we need to complete this classic scenario is someone to say "ARRRRR!"

Sometimes I just can't get out of bed fast enough, especially when my feet have cramped up. By the time I've managed to stagger down the stairs I'm about ready to burst. I finally get to the water closet and appreciate being a man.

"ARRRRRR"

You guys have it so easy - especially if you're out camping! No trying to find the right path to the restrooms in the wee small hours of the morning with a fading flashlight - any tree will do!

for me, the wee hours are the hours when you're up way past your bedtime, rather than the earliest you can wake up and still consider that you've had actual sleep. So, 2am is the wee hours for me, since I get up at 5 every day ;)

Agreed. For me, that makes the wee hours 4-5 AM.
