New Season of Heroes + Song

Post by fearfaoin »

I'm pretty excited about the new season of Heroes, which starts Monday.
So, I've written a parody of the Plain White T's song Hey There, Delilah

It's called Hey There, Patrelli, and is probably only amusing to Heroes fans
(and perhaps not even to them...)

(Note: you can click on underlined phrases to hear the songs mentioned.)

Hey fearfaoin,

I'm totally looking forward to it too! Too be honest I've never been much of a TV series guy, but this show had me hooked from episode one. I just hope they can keep the script and plot interesting. I have faith though!!

All I can hear is the guitar chord backing. (Is it me?) :(

Odd. The vocals start about 10 seconds in when I listen to it...
I've sent the link to other folks who've been able to hear the lyrics.

It's not been the same since my daughter walked off with the good headphones.

I just looked at a preview on nbc.com and it looks interesting.

Hm, my wife was skeptical about the first episode last night,
but I'm still excited. The first season took a couple episodes
to get interesting, too.

The new show had some quirky surprises, but it really bothers me when people who were killed off last season start to "miraclulously" reappear again. This has the potential to turn sappy.

Season 1 was quite a feat, and I liked the way they wrapped it up, so that it stands as a story unto itself. We will have to wait and see if they can do it again for a second season.

Hm. Good point deej, that may be what my wife disliked, but
couldn't put voice to. I expected Peter to live, but Nathan? Not
so much. I've seen Sylar in the previews, as well. No sign of
Isaac or Samone, though, so it's not as bad as Witchblade's 2nd
season (which just rolled the clock back as if nothing had hap-
pened). And at least they're introducing some new blood.

I was disappointed with the season premier as well as last season's finale (I just finished watching the season one DVD before the premier). It didn't mesh up with the effort in getting there.

Well I thought that set things up nicely. I like the Hiro in feudal Japan thing and I hope they've got a damn good explanation for Nathan being there and how no-one recognises the former senator for New York (assume he never took his office).

All in all I'm looking forward to the series. I just need to go buy a new hard drive to store them on now...
