It is another great line up.

Jimmy is a likeable character, but I think my kids are a little scared of him. He had joked around with them but I think they thought he was serious.

I would like Benedict to put out a solo CD, he is a really excellent piper.

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

I am intrigued by this six-armed, four-legged, multi-torsoed piper that the hardworking scientists in the SCUPC lab have come up with. No doubt a must see!:boggle:

I'm staying at the Best Western Capistrano Inn, but bob Wilson is sharing the room with me. Rooms are 99 a nite or there abouts.

How's your set doing. Last time you were having dron issues.

Pat - Awesome line up as usual. Unfortunately California is a bit to far away for me (at this time! ).....

Luckily the S/EUPC has their Tionol set for April 18-20 in Atlanta, GA !

I know - it was a shameless plug - couldn't resist :P :P :P

The Laguna Inn & Suites is the closest, cheapest and seediest, so needless to say, that's where I'll be staying :D

I particularly enjoy the close proximity of the ten-lane-wide I-5 freeway and the railroad tracks, and the fact that they run on either side of the place. Then there's the 73 toll road overpass, which looms almost overhead.

Gives it that je ne se qua that we all crave. Bring earplugs.

I second that. He plays a few tracks on both Pipers Gathering CDs (2004 and 2006) but COME ON, it's just not enough!!!

I am vicariously excited for the likes of Misterpatrick and Tommykleen, who may comprise the Minnesota Contingent attending the event.

What a lineup ... im - pre - ssive.

Maybe I could hide up with the landing gear on their flight out there -- although I'd be worried about the sudden temperature change on the pipes!
