Hey does anyone know where to get Riverdance sheet music. And while we're on that topic, how about mp3's.

Selections from Riverdance for pennywhhistle
AMSCO Publications (Order No. AM 949102 )
US ISBN 0.825.1727.8
The book includes guitar chords and comes with a CD on which you'll find regular and accompaniment tracks for the 14 tunes.
Enjoy...

It's a musical and dance show created by Bill Whelan in 1994 or 1995 (I believe).
Some will say it is not irish trad music, but some tunes are indeed reels or jigs. I also like the mix with other types of music from eastern Europe or Spain. Many fine pipers (Davy Spillane, Declan Masterson), fiddlers (Eileen Ivers, Mairead) or whistlers performed in the show since its creation.
The show is one of the most successfull around the world.

One can assume this question is highly rhetorical in nature. Walden already knows. As do almost all of the rest of us.

Naw, I'm going to go with he doesn't know.
(Its more fun that way)
From what I understand it involves the required use of spangley matador jackets, heavy eye make-up and sparkley tape.

Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

I saw portions of Riverdance and it left me with the same feeling as eating Americanized Mexican food: Kinda similar to the original, but somehow still leaves you wanting the real thing.
