My brother is a much better photographer than I, but then he's a professional:

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

I don't have a lot of landscape photos available, so I'll post this link instead:

http://www.rettner.net/quicksilverflowers/

Almaden Quicksilver park is near our house - the McAbee road entrance, shown on page two of "Park Views" is about a mile from us. We hike in the park several times a week, and have met the website owner on several occasions. He really loves the park in all its moods, and it shows.

As urban as the SF Bay area appears, the hills are only a few minutes away for most of us. And getting away in them as often as possible is what helps me retain whatever sanity I may still have

And here's a very poor quality pic, but we get these a lot in the summer:

So, IB, that time I was in your yard throwing a frisbee with my kids--was the lady who made us quit any kin of yours?

Almost certainly not. All kinds of people turn up there. I can't answer for them.

Am I seeing that right? People aren't allowed within close distance of stonehenge?

Correct. You walk the perimeter, along a pathway with a chain that you're not allowed to cross.

German Bombs. Norman Invaders. Harsh winters. Blazing summers. Climate change. Cultural upheaval.

Through all this and more, they have stood. The millenia come and go, but they remain.

But now, we must protect them from a new threat that could destroy them all:

SCHOOL CHILDREN ON FIELDTRIPS!
