I've decided that I will *not* wear purple, or red hats, as they have now moved into the 'faddish badge of conformity' range instead of the 'blatant disregard for popularity or conformity' that was the goal when that great poem was written. :)

Play "the hag with the money" a lot. Let it be your goal. That's it. I'll be there in 4 yrs, 3.5 months. Gotta have something to look forward to.

yep...not much of a market for used tattoos.

Do you find it odd when something does make sense?

Gosh, Carol...I don't know. I really can't give advice, because I just celebrated the 8th anniversary of my 29th birthday last March, so I have no idea what 50 feels like

You really are only as old as you feel (which is why I'm really only about 17). I'm sure you are going to be fabulous at 50. Happy Birthday!!!

P.S. on a side note (ahem...) you could always get a tattoo of a keyed flute. That way you're marking the milestone both ways

ah - forget the Red Hats - I like the Sweet Potato Queens! Anyone that thinks Marguaritas, chocolate, and salty foods are essential to life are at the top of my list!

Do you actually have one???? I did not realise that. Could a Chevy Malibu pull one and remain healthy? I want one. Argh. Argh.
