How to make a tinwhistle in 4 easy steps.
1. Make a tube from tinplate, or else get a pipe made from brass or something.
2. Make a window in it and put a plug in the front to form a mouthpiece.
3. Cut off the under part of the mouthpiece to make a beak.
4. Poke six holes in the top to make it sound in key.

You mean start by playing all the notes all the time, and then strip out the ones that don't fit?emtor wrote: great method. Playing the whistle is easy, you just don't play the notes that are NOT supposed to be in the tune. Piece of cake really

There can be simpler ways,
I'm told that a genuine Didgerydoo is actually made by termites.
I imagine termites might be encouraged to do things with a bit more sophistication, but I've only seen whistle manufacture done in less steps here http://chiffboard.mati.ca/viewtopic.php ... ht=#637930
(apologies for the crypto-post )

- Tell us something.: I play whistles. I sell whistles. This seems just a BIT excessive to the cause. A sentence or two is WAY less than 100 characters.

1. Do the research
2. Place the order
3. Pay the money
4. Receive the whistle in the mail.
Simple as ever.
