It's weird -- I saw this and thought, "well, at one number per second, that's 3600 per hour. Shouldn't take too long to get to a million.
278 hours --23 days counting 12 hours per day. Give him two per second, and it's still 12 days. You gotta REALLY want to reach a million to do something like this.
I think his next feat ought to be reciting pi to a million decimal places.

Oh, no, no. He counts 16 hrs/day. He's doing about 16,000 counts per day. He's already in 47 days and he's at 576,500.chas wrote:It's weird -- I saw this and thought, "well, at one number per second, that's 3600 per hour. Shouldn't take too long to get to a million.

.
Two per second is way off. Try saying, "three hundred seventy seven thousand six hundred seventy nine, three hundred seventy thousand six hundred eighty" in one second.

- Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.
