Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

Present: 1/2 set in boxwood & brass by Cillian Ó Bríain w/chanter in boxwood, brass & ebony mounts by Gordon Galloway.

Future: 3/4 set--all of the above + tenor & baritone regulators by Michael Hubbert.

Dream set: full set in...B? Probably B, but sometimes I'm tempted by C...Ebony, silver & boxwood. Possibly some Harrington-esque touches. Ain't sayin' who I'd want to make it...
