The Cure is on my Potentially the Best Band Ever list.

aside:
This is an interesting coincidence; over the weekend I bought the Mixed Up album from our local used CD store and found it to be surprisingly cool.

I don't think they belong on a "Potentially" anything list. They should be on the One of the Best Bands Ever list. I love The Cure :)

Saw them waay back during the Wish tour.

Robert Smith just sang a song with Korn during their unplugged set...really good.

Well, I say "potentially" because there are so MANY great bands that very well could be the best bands ever, but I'd rather not play absolute favorites, 'cause sometimes the comparisons are just apples to oranges. :D

Speaking of cures what is the saying about apples and doctors and what do oranges have to say for them, Mr Morris?

Tis I who revived this thread appalling though that may be to some.

I don't feel that The Cure deserves a buried topic.

I'm off to the cafe to buy an orange!

Maybe Chilean Grapefruits=proctologists...I think they sell those at Costco.
I know what I'm going shopping for after work! :P

Now, Tal, I didn't say your reviving the thread was appalling. Only the thought of your hijacking it...it seemed so out of character ;)
