Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

After you're 50, something always hurts.

But happy birthday, anyway.

I'm well-prepared for middle and old age. My body started falling apart at the age of 19, unless you count the brain, in which case it was at about 15. By my 20th birthday I'd dislocated both shoulders, one repeatedly. By 25 one knee was shot. By 40 I knew my orthopedists very well, and they knew the insides of one knee and one shoulder. I also know my physical therapists pretty well.

My wife did not live with pain for much of her life. She's just not mentally prepared for middle age -- failing eyes, aches and pains, all that.

Happy birthday, John -- I'm 3.5 years behind you.

Happy Birthday to you. Good to see you over on our side of the fence. Our birthdays are close together, mine comes next Sat but I'm a bit ahead of you. :P
