Thanks Patrick, I was going to say it first but now I don't have to. Love ya Jason, really. Not in a gay way, more like a prison way buddy!

Y'all should've seen our Nano busking in the streets of downtown St. Paul... it was... well... moving, to say the least. :P

All jokes aside, very nice piping Nanodood. :)

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

And people tell me I'm "paranoid". HA. This proves I'm very, very perceptive.

Yeah, and I appreciated all the dosh. Lemmesee...you guys gave me a penny, a nickle, a bottle cap, and two expired concert tickets. I can't laugh and pipe too well at the same time.

Here's a pic of my Concert to the Ghosts:

Early Sunday afternoon in beautiful downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. Just passing the time. Of course I wouldn't have done if there were scads of people around.

If you look very closely, you can almost see the cigarette butt on his pipe case that I left for a tip. I was, needless to say, deeply moved. :D

Misterpatrick, do you have a rough estimate when the concert video footage will be up and running? How about some more of them pics? :D

The audio on the video got blown out somehow so I am set to receive a CD copy from the audio guys. I have to resync the audio. I'm hoping by the end of the week. I'll also get some more photos up etc.

Lady Guitar...hmmm, Misterpat was that a reference to the cittern a.k.a the so called " English Guitar" ( despite it being used all over Europe back in the day...) being an acceptable instrument for women, or at least upper class women to play. ( Fiddle, trumpet, lute, pipes, flute and cello were considered too masculine for most women to play at least in "polite" public, for a host of reasons.)

I thought my references were a bit obscure...

Tell us something.: I am interested in the uilleann pipes and their typical -and broader- use. I have been composing and arranging for the instrument lately. I enjoy unusual harmonic combinations on the pipes. I use the pipes to play music of other cultures.

Dude. You...you...you're the one who plays "I Won't Be A Nun".

Of course, indeed then you won't.

Oh, well. So much for rebuttals.

Tom, I fully support your decision not to become a nun.
:D

Nano, don't feel too badly over all this prattle. Remember, I play... harp...with my fingernails...and I've heard them all. Then again I'm the type who brings a low whistle to a knife fight...
