YAHOOO!

Post by brewerpaul »

Just finished and passed all of my nursing final exams! The past two years have been a real grind, working podiatry days and nursing school at nights (including weekend classes during the intervening summer). I start my job in the O.R. on June 4, and just have to pass the licensing exam to become an official RN.
Drinks are on me!
Got wood?

Tell us something.: I've picked up the tinwhistle again after several years, and have recently purchased a Chieftain v5 from Kerry Whistles that I cannot wait to get (why can't we beam stuff yet, come on Captain Kirk, get me my Low D!)

Well done Brewerpaul! Are you officially a nymphomaniac now, or does it take time to kick in?

Congratulations! Were the tests hard? Mr Izz is about to take his finals for his first semester...3 more after this! A&P gave him the biggest headache, only because it was all memorization. But I think he still has a 3.5 in there (or darn close). He can't wait until the semester is over...it's been pretty brutal for him.

How exciting for you, Paul! Heck, I'm excited for you! ;)

Congratulations, Paul. Just one more (small) hurdle and you're done. I think you will find that working is a lot less work than going to school is.

Tell us something.: Long ago, I was told that I faked iTrad whistle work very well. I took that comment to heart. 20 years of private lessons - and many, many hours of rehearsal later - I certainly hope I have improved...

Way to go, Paul!

When you pass your RN test, do completely exit the podiatry world, or are you phasing that out and phasing in nursing?
