Sam,

Great to have you aboard!

I am also a great advocate of Sam's flutes.

Just waiting for the keyed E flat to come!

Played JUST the way I like! That's the EXACT tone I'm going for, that raw, rough-edged sound, just the way the flute was meant to sound, if you ask me.

Hopefully, I get it soon.
Yes, great sound. Mike R. sounds like that.

Thanks a million for the tunes.

Sure we all need a break. I use that phrase (2 phrases ago by this stage - and less polite ones for that matter) on occasions, just as exasperated utterances but, in case there is any misunderstanding and people start thinking there is something amiss and start posting things which are also misconstrued, I'll take it as being an off the cuff remark which was responded to in similar fashion.

If on the off chance you were cross with me then that's OK. If on the other hand you were annoyed by other peoples' enthusiasm then that's a bit of a shame.

More to the point ... Sam Murray has new contact details ''

I'm looking forward to the anniversary boxwood range. Is anyone else?

At the risk of sounding like a sycophantically sibilant slimeball, YESSSSSS!!

OMG, wouldn't it be divine if he put up some photos on a website or something?

Seriously ... Now that you've broken the electronic barrier, Sam, maybe we can at least talk you into posting some on the Flute lichen thread when you get one made. Far too few folks over here know your flutes and should be introduced.

OK, I swear I typed "Flute p-o-r-n" but came up with "lichen." What on earth? That's hilarious. Lichen. Hah!
