Here's another approach. Have knee surgery. Every time you get the urge to get something to eat, you think about how much effort you need to go through. I usually end up not moving (thus not eating). Great for freeing up time for the whistle, though!
Two years ago I had major emergency surgery. Lost about 25 lbs during that week in the hospital.(down to 106!!!) I'm happy to say I've gained a bit of it back, but happy to also say, not all!

Well, fortunately, my mental state is largely unaffected. It was when I stepped on the scale that the new number was pretty shocking. So, it's not anxiety, though I am starting on the next 10 pounds of loss, though. 2 more pounds have left since Monday. (and to be honest, my previous weight was not a healthy weight )
I am getting a little weary from all this coughing, though...
