New Diet Plan

Post by brianc »

Lose 10 pounds in 1 week, guaranteed!

No exercise! No weird mechanical contraptions! Sleep most of the day, everyday! Watch hours of really bad TV (and a few good classic films)!

Impress your friends, who'll be sure to ask, "Are you feeling alright?"

It's called 'The Flu' . And it is not recommended. :(

Here's another approach. Have knee surgery. Every time you get the urge to get something to eat, you think about how much effort you need to go through. I usually end up not moving (thus not eating). Great for freeing up time for the whistle, though!

Last year my husband got food poisoning the first day of an all inclusive vacation.
He couldn't eat or drink for a week without a dramatic reaction.

In the end though, his weight loss was from dehydration. Once he was able to hold fluids again he weighed the same as before.

Two years ago I had major emergency surgery. Lost about 25 lbs during that week in the hospital.(down to 106!!!) I'm happy to say I've gained a bit of it back, but happy to also say, not all!

A frequent problem -- the only question is _which_ end.
At the end of it all, I want to be told "Well done". I don't want to _be_ well done!

It's really exciting when you're doing five at once. Don't forget sweat and tears.

Lose over 20 pounds, no sleep, no exercise, no appetite and a complete loss of joy for anything!!!

It's called anxiety!

Only known side effect is that an overdose will likely lead to depression, which may significantly reduce the positiv effects of your diet.

Well, fortunately, my mental state is largely unaffected. It was when I stepped on the scale that the new number was pretty shocking. So, it's not anxiety, though I am starting on the next 10 pounds of loss, though. 2 more pounds have left since Monday. (and to be honest, my previous weight was not a healthy weight :sniffle: )

I am getting a little weary from all this coughing, though...

Thanks, Scott!
