Piping videos at www.tradlessons.com

Post by eskin »

Hi y'all,

I finally completed the first whistle tunes teaching video DVD a couple of weeks ago and am moving on to tunes on the Uilleann pipes.

Just posted the first three tonight:

I Buried my Wife and Danced on Top of Her
The Sporting Pitchfork
Mayor Harrison's Fedora

each tune played once at full speed, then slowly.

the site is:

http://www.tradlessons.com

If you like me to do a video for a specific tune, please drop me an email at:

michael@tradlessons.com

and please be sure to check out the site!

I hope some of players here will find the site useful.

Cheers and thanks,

Michael

I was hoping for something like this
Thanks a million Michael! This is most usefull, even essential for someone like me who pipes in isolation.

Best of luck with your new UP section, I'll spread the word over here :D

By the way, I think the idea of just the chanter is good for tune acquisition the first two times through.

But I'd sure love to hear the drones and regs on a third run. :)

New piping tunes up tonight, should be available on Sunday morning:

The Humours of Bandon - Jig

Tom Billy's - Reel

The Humours of Ballyloughlin - Jig (requested by Rob)

A pretty dry night here in San Diego, was a real challenge to get anything recorded worth a darn, finally had to resort to shampooing the carpet in my office to get some moisture in the air. :-)

Cheers,

Michael

 That's a first for me, I'll have to remember that. I can even use it as an excuse to practice, the missus will be pleased about the carpet.

BigDavy, if people watch the videos directly won't they miss the nice little PayPal donation box on the main site, or the 41 whistle videos, 2 flute videos, 8 Drop-D backup videos:

http://www.tradlessons.com

How will I ever pay off this expensive 3CCD camera and editing software much less those pesky regulators?

Please, if anyone wants to support the effort or request a specific tune, please visit the main site, any donation very much appreciated.

Cheers,

Michael

It's my opinion - highly regarded (and sometimes not) by me. Peace y'all.
