I have been sick with a horrid stomach flu, and am not able to attend the funeral today, so I took my Water Weasel Log G and went to sit in the Memory Garden we planted last year to honor friends of our little festival and their loved ones... as I was readying to sit on the bench, it occured to me that Lance had been instrumental in getting it planted, and that nearly all the daffodils that are poking up are there because his hands put them there... a beautiful balance to a sad, sad day... Spring is rebirth from many things.

You should probably change your avatar, then.
Argh! I can't quit! I'll have to change my avatar on something like 7 messageboards if I do!
*panics*
Yeah ya can... phooey on avatars at the moment... you can change it later as part of your celebration of yanking your life back out of the fat pockets of the tobacco industry.

And whether the skin be black or white as the snow.
Of kith and of kin we are one, be it right, be it wrong.
As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.

Annie, that's just simply beautiful. I'm glad that you were able to find at least one thing to bring you happiness in the midst of the grief you are experiencing right now.
