Woo hoo! A milestone.

I've been following C&F since 1999, but never joined until last autumn after some private correspondence with Dale, when he encouraged me to jump in. I mostly avoid internet boards because I'd rather play music than argue about it. But the level of discourse here in the instrument forums is mostly polite, good humored, informative and appreciative, and I give the moderators and the community a lot of credit for that. It's actually been fun.

So thanks, everyone! I think it will take a while for me to hit 1000 ... :-)

Ooh, nice! The gifts have improved. All I got was a single match. And it wasn't even one of the "strike anywhere" variety.

I could actually use one of those, I'm ashamed to say. But the one in the photo seems awfully long. It might require piper's grip.

Tell us something.: Been a fluter, citternist, and uilleann piper; committed now to the way of the harp.

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.
