This is one of the damnedest things I've ever seen on TV:

This guy has a brand new fan in me.

Dale, thanks for posting this. I've watched Ferguson on the rare evening when I'm up late. I find him very funny and enjoyable. But this clip really is remarkable.

Good clip. Never seen much of Ferguson before. I think he's pretty much unknown over here, most of the stuff he's done seems to be in America. In which case it's good to see he's kept his accent (well, mostly), unlike many who go to "make it" over there and return with the strangest voices.

It'd be good if more comedians and presenters took a cue from that, but I doubt they will.

If the eulogy he made about his father is still on YouTube, take a look.

He won me over with that several months ago.

I don't watch TV at night, (I play music), so I've never seen this guy before. But I just watched that clip, and I was very, very impressed. Everyone should view that, regardless of their circumstances. That is wisdom and compassion for all ages.

Thanks, Dale.

Here is the eulogy that Mukade mentioned: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dGqkKphLg4A

I was trying to think of where I had seen this guy before, and then it came to me - The Drew Carey Show - as Nigel Algernon Wick, a man who lost a toe and a nipple in a fox hunt that went terribly wrong. No wonder I liked the guy right away.

I really like him, and now I like him more.
He was one of the "panelists" on Bill Mauer's (sp?) Real Time last Friday and was the best of the bunch.

I hadn't heard of him before but I sure thought that video was well worth watching for a number of reasons. Since it is on Youtube, I hope lots of people will see it. I really was quite affected by the things he said.

I loved him on The Drew Carey Show and honestly I thought he was great in Saving Grace (if you haven't seen that one, go find it).

I've caught his late night show a couple times. Honestly, he's an impressive guy. Somebody with class in this day and age...imagine.

Dale, thanks for that. Truely amazing. The words that came from his mouth don't get any more honest or wise. The majority of the patients on my ward fight with addictions, alcohol being the most common. I tell them that we can show them the way, what they have to do, what they shouldn't do, but it's the patient that must become motivated beyond doubt, it's them that have to do the work.
Craig is an amazing man.
