 Yes, to a certain extent, I am still singing. But I was talking more about my background. I had voice training for a few years, and I was also in state competitions. I also was in several musicals (my biggest ambition was to be on Broadway for quite some time), and if I hadn't fallen in love with Biology in college, I would have been a music major. This was all way back when, though. I don't do too much in the way of singing anymore. In fact, the last time I was asked to sing (Four Green Fields...I wouldn't have even had to pick up a whistle! ), I said no because I couldn't fathom actually getting up in front of all those people to actually do it. I'm not sure why this is.

So, anyway. Yeah, that was probably more than you needed to know

No time for frivolity. I've got to see a man about a pink shag-covered pinball machine.

It just doesn't get any better than this. If you want to understand why I had little truck for Frankie Laine on the other thread, check out the sound of real Hollywood cowboys:

Vaughn Monroe: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Xsfw9CEQITA& ... ed&search=

Sons of the Pioneers: http://youtube.com/watch?v=J8sJKbTumqQ

YT let me down on Tumbling Tumbleweeds, but then, I'm just an old cow gland ...

And now for some REAL cowboys:

Gene Autry: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dtE-uH_ClYA

Roy Rogers: http://youtube.com/watch?v=zVgkcW0luc0

Some dirty pictures of cowboys and what they did with their animals: :o

Enjoy!

And many a poor man that has roved,
Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

Now I could not go to bed without a nod in the direction of the Master.

I reckon this was rejected for the Nashville Skyline album in favour of Girl from the North Country..

I prefer this one really..

Kinda grows on ye..
