What in the heck is a Parma Violet?
I want to know too...... never heard of them. I've also never heard of wine gums- those definately sound good.

Chocolate is pretty much the only sweet that I ever really want.
Mom's homade burbon balls are pretty tasty, but they'd fall under the cholocate catagory I suppose. As a kid, my favorite of all the penny candies were those long twist of black licorice.

Chocolate.

Then from the list, the licorice all sorts. Around here those are usually only available between Thanksgiving and New yeras for some reason

If the caffiene in candy or other stuff causes physical ailments, well, just go ahead and shoot me now.

Mind you, there are spells when I could occasionally go for some turkish delight (the real stuff) or salt water toffee or candied ginger ... well, choclate covered candied ginger to be exact. :)

Acid drops? A confection? I guess it adds a whole new dimension to sugar rush.

What the heck does a violet taste like? Am I going to have to get out and graze the yard this summer to find out? And is this white violet flavor or violet violet flavor? :-?

I usually go for the salty snacks, but when I do want candy, I want:

Sweetarts
lemon drops
Hershey's with caramel inside
Hershey's "special dark" (that used to be called "semi-sweet" when I was a kid)
mints - the little ones they sometimes have at the checkstand in restaurants
peppermint candy - either the little round red and white ones or a candy cane
butterscotch
Life Savers - preferably wild cherry

There's also a mint candy square made locally by Spokandy that usually shows up at weddings - very good but very, very rich. (Redwolf probably remembers those)

Altioids Ginger and Altoids Chocolate Ginger

I can pop them like Pez until my mouth burns and the endorphins flow. The chocolate ones are better than sex and almost as good as fresh buttered sweet corn.
