And whether the blood be highland, lowland or no.
And whether the skin be black or white as the snow.
Of kith and of kin we are one, be it right, be it wrong.
As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.

As long as our hearts beat true to the lilt of a song.

I'd like to say something funny about Thomas Cruise's faith too, but if I do that this thread will probably be locked and the Pub will be sent to the Pits of Oblivion.
I know how the moderators feel about insults and mockery of ones believe system, so I won't go there.

Been checking the thread history, have we? Mea culpa. My opinion of Scientology has long been on record, no doubt colorfully. But for what it's worth, 1) restriction of that sort of discussion was unlikely back in the day, and 2) the call for moderatorial probity (something I'm trying to work on) wasn't upon me, being your average Chiffer at the time.Lucas wrote:I'd like to say something funny about Thomas Cruise's faith too, but if I do that this thread will probably be locked and the Pub will be sent to the Pits of Oblivion.

Considering that I don't consider Scientology a religion, really, I don't know what to say. But I thank you for your restraint for the time being.

Tom Cruise is Tom Cruise crazy
Just be glad it’s him not you
If you had Tom Cruise’s troubles
You might be Tom Cruise crazy too
You’d flash your big white shiny smile
You’d buy expensive shoes
But you’d be the only man on Earth
Who couldn’t enjoy Tom Cruise
Oh no, you couldn’t enjoy Tom Cruise
Tom Cruise is Tom Cruise crazy
Just be glad it’s him not you
If you had Tom Cruise’s troubles
You might be Tom Cruise crazy too
You’d flash your big white shiny smile
You’d buy expensive shoes
But you’d be the only man on Earth
Who couldn’t enjoy Tom Cruise
Oh no, you couldn’t enjoy Tom Cruise

Scientology has a storefront location in midtown Manhattan near Times Square. With the large illuminated sign it is hard to tell it from a Broadway theater. It is very near the Richard Rogers theater where "Tarzan" is now playing. Since the Broadway shows deal with make-believe, it seems to me that the Scientology "church" is aptly positioned.Nanohedron wrote:Been checking the thread history, have we? Mea culpa.
