I never thought it would happen.

If it did happen, I never thought I would publicly admit it.

I have been drinking diet sodas for about a month now pretty exclusively, even though I have always hated the things.

This morning I found I still had a regular Coke stuck back.

I iced it down and took the first glorious swallow of what I felt I was craving: the real Real Thing.

I could barely drink it. It was nasty. It felt like I was drinking flavored corn syrup.

I actually prefer Diet Coke to regular Coke. :o

Thus, I have been seduced by the Dark Side. :twisted:

They've planted their memes within my poor brain. Who knows what comes next? Conformity? Church? Becoming a Republican? WEARING A SUIT TO WORK?!?!?!?!?

I can't drink a regular Coke for the life of me :party:

It's Diet Coke all the way.

When I gave it up for my pregnancies, Man, I would fantasize about a cold frosty glass of Diet Coke with beads of water running down the side and those little fizzies popping and sparking at the top.... ahhhhhh

:lol: Hey, I remember that big discussion on sodas---that was a pretty rousing one. All I can say is that I'm darned happy for your change and I admire your honesty in making this public statement. It might help others who would like to try cutting down on the sugar a bit. Great news!

I know plenty of non-Republicans who drink diet sodas or none at all. I even know non-Republicans who wear suits to work :lol:. You know, I am actually getting mixed up here. Surely many church-goers drink regular sodas, don't they? I'm not getting the connection between these things. Where would Birkenstocks fit in?

I drink too much coffee. But I make it half decaf. Yum. antioxidants.
(I don't like diet soda.)
Only butter or olive oil are acceptable on bread. No form of margarine will do, although Earth Balance buttery spread can be used in baking.

I used to drink lots of soda, mostly diet soda.

Now I mostly drink water. Sometimes I crave the carbonation to help settle my stomach.

I don't think I've ever drank mostly sodas....

I live in the South.

Sweet tea is a horrible addiction. :D
