New to the board, just a post to say hello. Hello.
I am a punter from Maryland. I too suffer from Flute/Whistle Acquisistion Disorder. I'll blame it on a friend who gave me a gift card to a local music shop last Christmas. In the past year I've got that first whistle, a few ethnic flutes (NAF, Bansuri, Shakuhachi) a few more whistles and even tried my hand at constructing a few of my own. Yes, the bug really bit me.
Anyway thanks to all the contributors here. There's a great wealth of information being shared. I'm currently sludging through old threads.
