I will be thinking of you James. This is hard, but you are strong. Your mother is now at peace.

I am so sorry to hear that. I know that sometimes it's a release when there has been so much suffering, but it does not make it any easier to loose them. You and your family are in my prayers.

Tell us something.: I used to be a regular then I took up the bassoon. Bassoons don't have a lot of chiff. Not really, I have always been a drummer, and my C&F years were when I was a little tired of the drums. Now I'm back playing drums. I mist the C&F years, though.

So sorry to hear it, but gladd she was not alone. May you find strength and courage together as a family to get through the loss, and may the joyous memories quickly outweigh the pain.

She passed away today at 1:15.

She was not alone; my sister and her husband was with her at the time of her death. She was not in pain.

Her name was Pearl Josefine Thomas Peeples.

She touched many lives with her care, wisdom, humor, and intellect.

She rests now; she has earned the right.

James there is a goodness and responsiveness about you in these forums that I am sure emanate from your mother or from your experiences with her. So though I did not know her I can appreciate her care, wisdom, humour and intellect through your many friendly, open minded and generous posts. I am sure this will continue, in memoriam .....
