Don't even THINK about the protest. The protesters aren't worthy of your thoughts, and the Patriot Riders will take care of them, anyway.

I'm sorry your health continues to be bad, try to take care of yourself the best you can.

Talk to your professors, perhaps you can stretch the finals out a bit.

Most important, we ARE here for you (and for you, too, Walden), use us as you need to.

Finals here too, though I'm giving and grading them rather than taking them. Recognize that your teachers may have an added stress level too, if you do approach them about extensions.

I am so sorry you hurt, in body and spirit too. And glad you know at least one place to ask for help.

My prayers are with you, and with your boss and teachers and doctors. Hope you all find that good judgement and some patience and forbearance too.

Thanks everybody. I really appreciate it. Things are kind of better now. I've gotten another job but it doesn't start until January 2nd. In the interim, I'm doing nothing. I can't really afford to do nothing, but it feels kind of good that I have no immediate responsibilities other than class.

I'm still in pain, as always, but it's lessened. I've seen my doctor, and there are only 2 days of finals left. Then, hopefully, I can rest. Rest. Rest. Rest. Rest.

Despite saying they would and despite circulating fliers about their protest, the hate group mentioned didn't even show up. I'm glad for that, because I feared the violence that would happen.
