This looks no different than several US shops that offer all sorts of everything (often of dubious quality) from around the world, e.g. Shark in the Morning. Why is this one so special?

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.

You are totally mixed up ! This isn't a music shop. It's the website of a musical group called L'Ham de Foc (Fish hook of fire) from Valencia, Spain. I'm not sure you can buy anything there---I don't see any prices even by the CD's. You can listen to tons of music on their CD's. There are also a bunch of videos that I haven't watched yet. If you go to the Instrument page, you can click on any instrument and then you will be able to read about it (I think maybe just in Spanish) and be able to hear that instrument. They then have links to tunes on their CD's that have that instrument playing, so you can go listen to it there as well. It's like a museum.

Must be Catalan. Sure isn't the kind of Spanish I recognize.

I thought I did recognize it, but my interpretation involved carnal acts with a smoked pork butt, which didn't make sense for a band, except maybe a heavy metal one. sorry, I couldn't help myself.

It is Catalan. What we call 'Spanish' is actually Castillian. Spain has 2 other 'official' languages, Euskera (a Basque language) and Galician.

A lot of countries have a more than one official language: Belgium, Spain, The Netherlands, Ireland, Switserland, France, Finland, Canada, Luxemburg, Malta ...

Well, I wasn't really trying to make a point about your confusion per se. We all accepted it long ago.
