I agree entirely. I should have put that on my list as I've been listening to it, too. I always loved Burt Bacharach and I regard Elvis Costello as a genius--a term I don't throw around much.Congratulations wrote:I just bought "Painted from Memory" by Elvis Costello and Burt Bacharach. It is superb.

- Tell us something.: Just updating my profile after 16+ years of C&F membership. Sold most of my flutes, play the ones I still own and occasionally still enjoy coming here and read about flute related subjects.

Tom Waits - "Orphans: Brawlers, Bawlers & Basmatis"
Regina Spector - "Songs" (check out the clips, all albums free for online listening! I'm in )
Red Hot Chilli Peppers - "Stadium Arcadium"
Shooglenifty - my monster mp3 collection
Todd Denman - "Reeds and Rosin" (The Templehouse is currently my kids favorite, haven't listened to this CD in a few years and initially I didn't like it that much. I have now kind of discovered it in a new way and I really enjoy it)

There is no such thing as tailwind -- it's either against you or you're simply having great legs!

The first two Helicon (Chris Norman and Ken Kolodner) albums. The only thing more amazing than the music is that the guys were so young when they were recorded.

Spektor. Who can blame you? She can be seen on youtube doing her latest, Fidelity. And she plays bass Overtons (notice the strange pickup mic at the bottom):MarcusR wrote:...
