Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

I'd guess that the posters are probably 25 or younger. I probably would have said (as a teen) "Polka . . . oh yuck! Who likes polka?" It was only a couple years ago that I said "I HATE BLUEGRASS MUSIC!" I kinda like polka and really enjoy bluegrass now(it's better than" pop" country music). So maybe after they get a few years under their belts, they'll change their minds.

There's a long walk between the drek they call polka in the US based on Eastern European tastes (the stuff everybody makes fun of) versus the excellent music that comes out of Kerry.

I'd rather be atop the foothills than beneath them.

Yes, here "polka" is associated with accordions . . . and your parents listening to Lawrence Welk . . .

Thank you, thank you, Myron Floren. That was wonderful. And now the wonderful Lennon sisters will give us their rendition of "I Can't get No Satisfaction."

That Janet Lennon was hot.

And somehow . . . somehow no matter what they sang, it all came out having the faintest flavor of . . . polka.

I was about to have a go at your sweeping generalisation of young folk, then I remembered my birthday was a couple of weeks ago and I'm now 26...

So, er, carry on :D

hmmmm ...... I kinda remember that Queen was one of my fave pop bands - until I heard Wierd Al do the bohemian polka!

Funny how humor exceeds sexuality.
All the best!

They don't enjoy Polka music. What worse punishment would you impose upon them?

Lock them in a spherical room and tell them they're only allowed to pee in the corner?

It's only punishment if they are forced to hear it. That's how they ought to suffer. MWUAHAHAH
