77.8. I was expecting to do rather better.
I'll try again after some sleep and caffeine. In that order.

This is, apparently for me, more a psychology test than a tone perception test. I expected it to try to fool me with hairline differences the first time I took it and supposed that I heard fractional differences in some of the chords. I chose different in the vast majority of cases. I scored an impressive 69.something or other. Then I took it again, (I'll acknowledge that this could be construed as cheating,) deciding to pick different only when I definitely heard an out of joint tone, and assuming that it wasn't trying to measure my perception to the millihair. That time I scored 91.7. I'm not at all sure what this says about my tone perception. Apparently I can tell the difference between the obvious mismatches and the matches. But I'm also subject to psyching myself into imagining differences where there are none.

If I'm normal why am I having such a hard time learning to play?

83.3% Correct

Wow! Now if I could just manage to get that accuracy to hold from my input files to my output files.

I've discovered that you can get a completely different randomly generated set of sequences if you try it again.

It is difficult. I think I would score better if there were a way to repeat. Without that, the variables of short term memory and attention span are not eliminated.

Folks, don't put too much stock in it, either way.

It's just a fun thing, not a serious one.

Well, I had a rough start with the first couple trying to figure out what constituted a "phrase" and how those darned buttons worked, but I ended up with an 83.3.

75, but having my son playing the built-in tunes on a Yamaha keyboard in the background might have skewed things a bit -- after a while, everything sounded like a jazz version of "Greensleeves"... :)

94.4 here. I don't know which ones I missed. I would have expected much better being such a conceited person and all.
I'm no longer trying a new posting paradigm
