Hearing things.

One of my desktop computers is channeling country music radio. I kid you not at all, y'all. The speakers pick up a local country station. It's driving me crazy. Other than replacing the speakers, can anyone think of a solution?

Maybe make a little tinfoil hat for the speakers? Or a pyramid?

You could build a Faraday cage around your computer.

You people don't understand. I hate country music (except for George Jones, Johnny Cash, EmmyLou Harris, and a small handful of others).

Well, there you go. Those of us who like it aren't getting channeled. Change your attitude, dude.

A Faraday cage would block out incoming signals. If the material is thick enough and the holes small enough it should also block out electro-magnetic signals as well. So a small one encasing each speaker should block out the country signal.

Heartaches by the number, huh? So sorry you have to go through this ring of fire.

Perhaps you need some friends in low places?

It's surely sixteen tons of trouble, but after all, I never promised you a rose garden.

Crazy.

But soon you'll be on the road again. One of these days.

That's just the price you pay.

Don't be cruel.

Dang me.

Maybe one of these days you'll dig that country sunshine.

Please forgive me: I've got two more bottles of wine.

Computer speakers are already magnetically shielded, so that they don't
erase the hard drive or make the CRT go wonky. I think Dale just got the
country music virus. Aside from the musical side effects, it also deletes any
files pertaining to your truck, your woman, or your dog.
