The Olwell Has been sold

Post by joshD »

Cathy Wilde is the proud new owner and I will say there is a interesting story behind this flute and Cathy. She just happend to be 15 miles down the road from me visiting her sister when she logged on and saw that my flute was for sale :o. So she emailed me after the last guy backed out on me, came over and bought the flute. Talk about Wilde!!!! :o :o :o :o
This world is so small.

Tell us something.: I restore 19th century flutes, specializing in Rudall & Rose, and early American flutes. I occasionally make new flutes. Been at it for about 15 years.

I attribute it to a tuneless week culminating in three sleepless nights spent on a leaking air mattress in the company of a 3-week-old infant, a 2 1/2-year-old toddler who's none too happy about a 3-week-old infant invading her domain, and a brother-in-law with a broken foot who wasn't being much more mature than the toddler.

I think that would weaken anyone's defenses. And of course it doesn't hurt that Josh is a lovely man and a heckuva flute player.

BTW, JonC, NICE flute you've got coming your way! :-)

Tell us something.: I'm just updating my profile. Actually came on to change my signature, which is out of date. I have no idea what 100 characters looks like. Is this enough perhaps?

Curses... not to mention drat. As well as congratulations and thanks for saving me from myself.

Would still quite like to know if it had a fully line headjoint or not.

Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

It does.

E-skya! I thought I was all about blackwood, so I don't know. :-(

Nonetheless ..... (drum roll)

I may be Up in the air about some things, but I'm still a Murray Girl.

(WOW, THE WORST PUN POSSIBLY EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
