Sweet, Walden. I hope she's nursing ok, despite surgery.
(Of course I hope Linus is too...this has became a multi-species parturition thread.)

Jeez Emm..

I just looked"parturition" up.

A new one on me...wow.

When I was about 15 years old there was a live birth on TV. One of these ground breaking shows that the BBC used to show from time to time.

There was three of us in the room, all male I hasten to add. I fainted, one puked and the other has not been seen in close proximity to a woman since.

I dunno..

Well you know what they say .."If Men got pregnant, it would become illegal" ..

Thanks for the new word

Loved and thought himself beloved,
From a glad kindness cannot take his eyes.

This is Linus the Lionhearted. He had a cartoon show in the '60's.
He sends his congratulations too!

That's a sweet picture of your dog and her puppy, Walden.

Heavy Al, glad you have come out of lurking!

Tell us something.: "Tell us something" hits me a bit like someone asking me to tell a joke. I can always think of a hundred of them until someone asks me for one. You know how it is. Right now, I can't think of "something" to tell you. But I have to use at least 100 characters to inform you of that.

That used to be one of my favorite cartoons as a lad.

Let's see if I can remember the theme off the top of my head.

Roar roar roar roar
Linus the Lionhearted

Linus is the one
who lines up the fun
he's the host of which we boast

So roar roar roar roar
Linus the king
Linus the star
Linus the lion hearted.

Congrats JessieK

By the way, he gets breast milk, too. I don't produce enough to cover all meals.

Congratulation, Jessie! I'm glad to hear that you and Linus are well, and that Joey is still pleased about being a big sister.

I'm an infrequent visitor to the chiffboard nowadays, but I've been checking in every day hoping to see that thread name change and read the good news that Linus arrived safely.

I remember that after the birth of my first child, I was amazed at how incredibly comfortable the hospital bed was. Then I went home and discovered that my own bed had suddenly become comfortable, too. It's a little unfair how nature makes the bed comfortable again just when your opportunity to actually sleep on it is greatly reduced. Here's hoping you get to spend some quality time with your own newly comfort-enhanced bed.
