What... y'all don't like early 1980's television acttion comedies? Surely they beat the Heracles and Xena shows of more recent times.

My husband loved "Firefly". For me it was just another program for TV to show off a bunch of pretty young people
but it did have some rather decent fiddle music in the background.

That fiddle music is what I missed most in the movie.

On a related note, the second half of season 2 of Battlestar Galactica (the Edward Olmos version) is available on dvd now. If you don't like that one, there's no hope for you. (And you have no taste, in my opinion.)8)

Firefly was awesome. It's cowboys in space! You just can't get any cooler than that.

I recently watched Serenity and felt very, very pissed off afterwards (for the characters they killed and the fact that Fox cancelled it).

... as was I. I think it was a form of closure for Joss Wheddon to 'off' a few charaters in Serenity. Firefly was cancelled before he could end it properly.
