I can't decide if it'd be a good or bad thing to be born on International
Talk Like a Pirate Day. The theme parties would get annoying, one
would think.

Tell us something.: You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don't need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don't need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free

Welll, if nothing else, it'll either have her laughing or groaning, and that might have some impact. :D

EDIT: Woo-hoo! I went to the doctor and I have dilated to 2-3cm. She is going to induce me tonight if it doesn't happen on its own! Yay! Finally!

OK - this is Jessie's last post - 2 days ago.

Has Linus finally arrived???

Well, she did say that she had started dialating, and that if things didn't get going that night the doctor was going to induce her. I assume one or the other happened.. I hope mother and child are doing well, if so. I expect it'll be a while before we hear any news :)

JessieK said she would change the title of this thread when there was news. I think Monday night was when the action was going to start and, since we haven't heard differently, I bet that little Linus must have come by now. I imagine the title of the thread will change once things get back to normal. But I'm no expert on the topic  .

We aren't allowed to give medical advice here. Mostly these forums have to do with music, just in case you googled and found this one particular conversation here. We don't talk about child birth very often--it's just that a member is having a baby. Good luck. Maybe someone else will have some ideas though. But you are surely more than welcome to the forums---please don't think I meant you weren't. Just that maybe the help you are seeking might not be here. Aarrgh! I don't know!

Sometimes it takes patience......and more patience....and even some more patience. My first was nearly 3 weeks late, but worth the wait!

Oh, yeah: also a mod here, not a spammer. A matter of opinion, perhaps.

Yes, mum2be, you're very welcome here. Just read the medical advice policy, please, and restrict such Chiffboard inquiries to PMs and emails, please. Thanks.
